Department Activities
|
The Department Organized a National Level Symposium on Science and Technology – SPECTRUM’ 05. Students from various Colleges presented papers on recent advancement in Maths, Physics and Chemistry. Eminent Scientists delivered lectures on recent trends in their field.
One of our Faculty from the Department of Chemistry, Mr M.DHAMODARAN has been conferred Doctorate for his research on “OXIDATION OF ALCOHOL BY POLYMER SUPPORTED CATALYSTS in March 2006.He has been guiding about ten Mphil.scholars.
One of our Faculty from the Department of Chemistry,Ms.R.Subha is pursuing Doctoral programme on THEORY AND STUDY OF INTERACTION OF THE DOPANTS IN BIO CRYSTALS.
The Department runs RED RIBBON CLUB sponsored by Pondicherry University and supported by US-APAC which creates awareness on AIDS among the down-trodden and illiterate. |
