Eligibility
To be eligible for admission to the first year M.B.B.S. degree course, the candidate should have passed the Higher Secondary (academic) examination conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Examination of Tamil Nadu or any other equivalent examination, with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (40% marks for S.C/O.B.C/ M.B.C) in the following subjects: Biology (Botany & Zoology), Physics and Chemistry. And English is essential as a subject.
Improvement marks
Candidate may also seek admission with marks secured in the improvement examination (if they are advantageous), provided it is the first improvement examination.
Age limit
The candidate should be 17years of age on 31st December 2010. However, no upper age limit has been prescribed.
Duration
The duration of the course is 5 ½ years, including one year of Compulsory Rotary Residential Internship (C.R.R.I), leading to award of the M.B.B.S. degree by Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth University.

The syllabus for the M.B.B.S. course is as prescribed by the Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth University . The admission to the M.B.B.S. program is in accordance with the regulations of the Medical Council of India , New Delhi , Government of Puducherry and Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth University .
