Training and placement cell:

        The college maintains a training and placement cell for the purposes of the student. It starts counseling student from their II year of studies onwards to guide them property. It gives much scope to the student to do their best so that through the cell they can find  placement at the verge of their study. The cell imposes student for training at premier companies elsewhere. Through the cell communication and personality development classes are conducted to equip the students to get exposed of them selves. Apart from this Model Aptitude Test, Group Discussion, psychometric charting as well as mock interviews are conducted for prepare for students to campus placements.

       We feel proud that our curriculum has been expanded and made integral with the syllabus by Pondicherry University. We have also put in extensive effort for recruitment on and off campus. We are successful in getting our student placed in ALLSEC Technologies Limited, Chennai and prodEx, Chennai.

Counseling service:

The counseling service is available to help with difficulties, which can includes such issue as worries about academic work, personal relationship, exam panic, depression and anxiety. But counseling need not be ‘problem-centered’ –it can also involve exploring ways of building on strengths. Counseling aims to help claims take responsibility for their own decisions, so that students who feel more fulfilled and in control of their personal lives can also achieve more in their academic lives.

Health service:

            The college assists the students in looking after their health. The college doctor will be available in the college campus for consultation. Students can seek advice from our medical officer any time. Regular health check-ups will also be conducted for all the students. Students can consult the college doctor even after the college hours at his chamber outside the college on showing their identity cards.

Co-Curricular Activates:

           All the staff members have been register as life members of the Indian Society for Technical Education [ISTE], New Delhi. For the students, ISTE students chapter, Institute of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering students FORUM [ISF],Computer societies of India are very active. The students are encouraged to participate in seminars & paper contests conducted at State/National levels.

Seminar Hall:

            The college keeps a mini-seminar hall spanning in an area of about 2000 square ft. the seating capacity goes to 250 in number. The seminar hall is repeatedly used for Guest Lectures and for other departmental and academic activities for the students.

Quality:

            The management is strong supporter of quality orientation in whatever it does.While this provides the support to the faculty, students and non teaching staff are fully geared to put in place systems and procedures to achieve in all facets of learning. Our institution has formally implemented a Quality Management System as per the guidelines of ISO 9001 – 2000 and has been awarded IOS certificate M/s. RWTUV. The departments namely Mechanical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering and Computer Science & Engineering have been accredited by Government body NATIONAL BOARD OF ACCREDITATION [AICTE].

Library:

          The college library is housed with 11,441 technical volumes, 109 National and International journals and periodicals, 419 back volumes, 598 CDs, 178 floppies and 477 project reports along with 482 volumes of question bank. The students can access the library and use the facility is air-conditioned comfort in total silence. There is a computer at the library besides a photo copying machine. Library hours are 9 am to 9 pm. The students are required to follow the rules of the library, utilize the library fully.

Hostel Facilities:

            The institution provides excellent hostel facilities for boy and girls with delicious food. There is canteen in side the campus which provides lunch and snacks. Lunch is provided inside the campus for all students. The trust has decided to construct a Guest House for accommodating the parents for brief stay, who wants to visit their wards. Separate Hostel building for boys and girls is available.

Physical Education:

            The main aim of the physical education department, an amalgamation of college sport and recreation services and the union of student’s sports club, is to promote sports for all and cater for all abilities. Our college sport team compete at local league and inter university levels. College sport also boasts a large recreational sports program including an extensive intramural program, which is a series of leagues and competitions.

Transport Facilities:

            The college has provided 10 buses for the transport of students from the town to the college campus. Transport by college bus is compulsory for students and no private vehicles are allowed.
